ABOUT THE ROLE
- We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy Technical Assistant & Junior Web Developer to support various international tech projects ranging from WordPress sites, Laravel & Angular-based platforms, and upcoming startups involving AI and e-commerce.
- This is a unique hybrid role—part developer, part personal/technical assistant—offering hands-on experience in web development, deployment, and digital product operations.
- Note: This role requires prior professional experience (no fresh graduates) and mandatory in-person collaboration at least 3 days per week in Yogyakarta.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development and maintenance of WordPress websites (custom themes, plugin integration, content updates)
- Support development tasks using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic backend (e.g. PHP or Laravel)
- Conduct simple testing, bug tracking, and code reviews
- Help manage day-to-day tasks, schedules, and small errands related to project or company operations
- Prepare documentation, reports, or assist during client interactions
- Join R&D sprints for experimental tech stacks (AI, APIs, e-commerce)
REQUIEREMENTS
- Minimum 1–2 years of professional experience in a web development role
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with CMS platforms, especially WordPress
- Foundation in backend (e.g. PHP, Laravel, or similar)
- Willingness to learn, problem-solve, and adapt to various projects
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Based in Yogyakarta or willing to relocate
- Able to work collaboratively on-site at least 3 days a week (required)
BONUS SKILLS (Nice to have)
- Experience with Git, CLI, or simple deployment flows
- Understanding of Angular or React
- Interest in AI or e-commerce systems
- Previous freelance or team collaboration experience
